What we collect
- From merchants: the details in your application, your console accounts, and the catalogue and policies you publish to the service.
- From your customers: the conversation, the session it belongs to, and the minimum fields needed to answer. An order lookup returns only that customer's own order, with fields minimised.
- From visitors: the address a request came from and the pages requested, for security and rate limiting.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To provide the service: answer your customers from your published content, operate the console, and enforce your plan's limits.
- To improve our website and customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your requests and support needs).
- To process transactions. Your information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the service requested.
- To send periodic emails. The email address you provide with your application is used for information about your application and account. Every email we send says how to stop receiving it.

Each merchant's data sits behind a row-level policy in our database that no application role can bypass, and console access requires a permission for each area and a password again for changes that take something away.

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Customer conversations are processed on infrastructure we operate and are not sent to third-party AI providers. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.
How long we keep it
Conversation and session data is kept for the retention window shown in the console's Privacy section, then deleted; deletion is verified by the platform. Account and application records are kept while the account exists and for as long as the law requires afterwards.
Third party links
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
Your rights
Merchants can ask us to correct or delete their account and the data in it. Customers of a merchant should contact that merchant, who can act on their behalf through us.
